structure. In many cases, the structures have been evolved and

springs of a US army Jeep seat, from Japanese triaxial silk to
Botswanan beer strainers,and from Omani sandsocks to a Tuareg hat,
have been specially photographed by David Cripps, to
completent the author's analytical diagrams. Together
